About LA-Geo2028

LA-Geo2028 is an educational outreach initiative connected to the 2028 Los Angeles Games. The project uses public interest in the Games to teach the general public about Los Angeles geology, geography, tectonics, climate, mountains, beaches, coastlines, landscapes, and Olympic venue settings.

Hosted by UCLA Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences (EPSS), this initiative aims to recruit Angelenos, students, educators, scientists, and community partners to help communicate geology far and wide.
